Cello

The cello may travel in the cabin on its own seat at Eurowings. An Extra Seat (EXST) at the regular fare is required. Booking is only possible through the Eurowings Service Center — online booking is not available.

Guitar

A guitar may travel in the cabin if it fits in the overhead bin (max. 55x40x23 cm) including its case. If it exceeds these dimensions, an Extra Seat can be booked through the Service Center. The BASIC fare does not include carry-on luggage.

Violin

The violin may travel in the cabin as regular carry-on luggage. A standard violin case fits within the permitted dimensions. Carry-on is included from the SMART fare onwards.

Double Bass

The double bass is too large for the cabin and must be checked as special baggage. Eurowings requires pre-registration at least 72 hours before departure. Cargo hold space may be limited depending on aircraft type.

Saxophone

Soprano and alto saxophones fit as cabin carry-on at Eurowings if the case meets the 55x40x23 cm limit. Tenor and baritone saxophones must be checked as special baggage. Carry-on is included from the SMART fare onwards.

Keyboard

Keyboards and stage pianos exceed carry-on dimensions and must be checked as special baggage. Cargo hold space may be limited on smaller Eurowings aircraft depending on the route.

DJ Controller

Compact DJ controllers (e.g., Pioneer DDJ-FLX4, DDJ-400) fit as cabin carry-on at Eurowings if they meet the 55x40x23 cm limit. Larger controllers must be checked as baggage.

Drums

Drum kit parts must be checked individually as oversized baggage at Eurowings. Each piece is handled and charged separately. Pre-registration at least 72 hours before departure is mandatory. Cargo hold space varies by aircraft type.
