Can I bring a cello on Lufthansa?
The cello may travel in the cabin on its own seat. An Extra Seat (EXST) at the regular fare of the booked travel class is required. Booking is only possible through the Lufthansa Service Center.
Can I bring a guitar on Lufthansa?
A guitar may travel in the cabin if it fits in the overhead bin (max. 55x40x20 cm) including its case. If it exceeds these dimensions, an Extra Seat can be booked through the Service Center.
Can I bring a violin on Lufthansa?
The violin may travel in the cabin free of charge as regular carry-on luggage. It fits easily into the overhead bin.
Can I bring a double bass on Lufthansa?
The double bass is too large for the cabin and must be checked as special baggage. Maximum dimensions are 200x75x60 cm. A sturdy flight case is mandatory.
