A guitar may travel in the cabin if it fits in the overhead bin (max. 55x40x20 cm) including its case. If it exceeds these dimensions, an Extra Seat can be booked through the Service Center.

easyJet
A guitar may only travel in the easyJet cabin if it fits within carry-on dimensions (56x45x25 cm) including its case. This is only realistic with very small guitars or ukuleles. Larger guitars must be checked.
FR
Ryanair
Guitars do not fit Ryanair's strict cabin baggage limits and must be transported as checked baggage in a flight case.
LX
SWISS
SWISS enables guitar transport in the cabin via extra seat or as checked baggage — carry-on dimensions are usually exceeded.
OS
Austrian Airlines
Austrian Airlines enables guitar transport in the cabin via extra seat or as checked baggage — a standard guitar case exceeds carry-on dimensions.
EW
Eurowings
A guitar may travel in the cabin if it fits in the overhead bin (max. 55x40x23 cm) including its case. If it exceeds these dimensions, an Extra Seat can be booked through the Service Center. The BASIC fare does not include carry-on luggage.

A guitar may travel in the cabin at KLM if it fits in the overhead bin (max. 55x35x25 cm) including its case. If it exceeds these dimensions, a CBBG seat can be booked through the Service Center.

A guitar may travel in the cabin at Air France if it fits in the overhead bin (max. 55x35x25 cm) including its case. If it exceeds these dimensions, an Extra Seat can be booked through the Service Center or a travel agency.

British Airways
Guitars may be brought into the cabin as carry-on if within 56x45x25 cm — BA's limits are more generous than many European airlines.
IB
Iberia
Guitars may be brought into the cabin as carry-on if within 56x45x25 cm — Iberia has generous carry-on limits.
TP
TAP Air Portugal
Compact guitars can travel as cabin carry-on on TAP flights, while full-size guitars require an extra seat or checked special baggage handling.
SK
SAS Scandinavian Airlines
SAS accepts guitars as cabin carry-on if they fit within the 55 x 40 x 23 cm hand baggage dimensions – otherwise the guitar is handled as checked baggage.
