Practical Tips
Good to Know
Seriously consider whether renting a drum kit at the destination is cheaper — with more than 3 cases, baggage fees often exceed rental costs. On routes with A319 or CRJ900, cargo hold space is very limited. Take sticks, brushes, and electronics as carry-on. Transport cymbals in a dedicated cymbal case with foam dividers.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Can I take drumsticks in the cabin?
- Yes, drumsticks are allowed in carry-on luggage. Stow them in your bag.
- Can Eurowings transport my complete drum kit?
- That depends on the route and aircraft type. It is more feasible on A320/A321 routes than on A319 or CRJ routes. Clarify the number and size of parts with the Service Center in advance.
